Not have any commitment in another financial structure

Reside in the structure's intervention territory

The different types of credit at BODANE

At BODANE, the two (02) types of credits granted are:

Individual credit
Group credit

Individual credit

Credit granted to an individual
(woman and girl only). The different characteristics:

  • Duration: 06 to 36 months
  • Amount granted: 10,000 FCFA to 2,000,000 FCFA
  • Pledged savings: 15% of the amount granted
  • Application fees: 1% of the amount requested by the beneficiary

Group credit

Credit granted to a group of women in urban and rural areas. The different characteristics of group credit:

  • Duration: 06 to 36 months
  • Amount granted: 10,000 FCFA to 2,000,000 FCFA
  • Pledged savings: 15% of the amount granted
  • Application fees: 1% of the total amount requested by the group.

Concerning the interest rates, they vary from 10% to 20% depending on the duration of the loan

The legal status of the applicant

BODANE credits are available to women's groups and individual women who meet the following conditions

Be a group of women or an individual woman

Reside in the territory of intervention of BODANE (South-West Region)

Conducting a profitable revenue-generating activity

Have a Burkinabe National Identity Card (CNIB)

Open an account at BODANE

Be of good moral character

Ineligibility to the credit policy

Are excluded from the credit policy, any woman :

Who has ever used credit for purposes other than those for which it was granted

Who is the beneficiary of an outstanding credit at BODANE or with another credit structure

Who is a bad payer

Credit objectseligible

The activities eligible for the BODANE credit policy are :

Agricultural production activities
Animal production activities
Trading (purchase and resale as is)
All lawful revenue-generating activities
